The Sandman

The other villian that will be appearing in Spiderman 3 is Sandman. One of the earlier villian for Spiderman. In movie, sandman will be played by Thomas Haden Church.
Sandman or William Baker was abandoned by his father and live in peverty with his mother. His life make him trapped into theft and cheating and ended involved in more and more illegal activity under an alias name Flint Marko. He been caught but managed to esccape. He found himself near a Savannah Beach, Georgia, where he made contact to the sand that had been irradiated by an experimental reactor. His body ant the radioaktive sand bonded and change his molecular structure into a sand/dirt-like substance. Marko found that he could transform all his body to sand and called himself The Sandman.

Sandman has the ability to transform into a malleable sand-like substance which can be hardened, dispersed, or shaped according to his will. Even if his body is blown apart he is capable of reforming it. He also capable to merge with the natural sand and manipulate it like his normal body or use to add strength and reform himself with it. He has strength several time in excess from Spiderman make him equal to the Thing. In the Spiderman 3, Sandman are said to be team up with Green Goblin 2@Harry Osborn to destroy Spiderman. And this should be more interesting.
