Doctor Octopus

Appear as the villain for Spiderman 2 was Dr. Octopus. Doctor Octopus or Dr. Otto Octavius first appeared in Amazing Spiderman # 3 and created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko as the artist. “Doc. Ock” (as Spiderman always call him) was a highly intelligent mad scientist with his powerful mechanical “octopus hand”. In Spiderman 2, the character played by Alfred Molina.

Before his turning himself into the enemy of Spiderman, Otto Octavius was a brilliant and respected nuclear physicist, inventor and lecturer. He wanted to marry his girlfriend but his mother did not agree. When his woman died of cancer, Otto rebuked his mother causing her to fatal heart attack. He then designed a set of highly advanced mechanical tentacles arms to assist him with the atomic research. These mechanical arms were attached to him, and then the accident happened (radiation leak and ended with explosion). The explosion caused mutation and brain damage (interpreted that his mind rewiring himself to accommodate 4 extra limbs), that he could control the arms using his thought alone. And since then, then scientist turned his life to a crime.

Doctor Octopus has been hinted as being a low-level telepathic mutant, but no superpowers have been outrightly revealed. He is a bona fide genius in the fields of atomic physics, in which he holds a Ph. D in robotics. His arms are capable of lifting up to eight tones, the reaction time and agility of this mecahnical appendages is enhance far beyond the range attainable for human musculature. This allow Octaviaus to move rapidly over ant terrain and to scale vertical surfaces and ceilings. “Doc Ock” posesse total of three harnesses during his life,
