Steve Ditko, Co-Creator
Last post I’ve told u about Stan lee, the Spiderman creator but I forgot to mention Steve Ditko, he was a co-creator for the character. At that time he was an artist for Spiderman character. Steve Ditko or Stephen Ditko was born on 2nd November 1927 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He was in a military service in post-war Germany before he studied at Cartoonist and Illustrators School in New York City. He began professionally illustrating comic’s books in 1953. Ditko’s early work starting with the cover of “Space Adventure # 10” and the five-page story “Homecoming” For Charlton Comics. He continued producing fiction, horror, and mystery stories, as well as co-creating Captain Atom with writer Joe Gill in 1960.
Ditko joined Marvel beginning with four –page in “Journey Into Mystery # 33 1956. Then he continued contributed for Marvel, and then met with Stan Lee which both of them created Spiderman in Amazing Fantasy # 15. The other character that Ditko created are The Creeper, Hawk and Dove (co-creator), Shade, the Changing Man, The Odd Man, Doctor Strange, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Sandman and other Spiderman villains (co-creator) and others.
