The Lizards –Spiderman Reboot 2012

Last played by Dylan Baker as Dr. Curt Connors in both Spiderman 2 and 3, yet Dr. Curt Connors was not been revealed as The Lizards. Appearance in the last Spiderman Movie as the Peter University Professor continues in the new Spiderman Reboot with new cast, Rhys Ifans. This time Dr. Curt Connors will reveal the lizard. Here are Lizard profile:

The lizard introduced in the Amazing Spiderman comic #6 (Nov.1963) created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Lizard or Dr. Curtis Connors was a gifted surgeon in the army and was sent to War, where he lost his right arm in a blast. Returning to a civilian life as a research technologist, Connors became obsessed to a secret of reptilian regeneration limb. After series of experiments and researches, he finally develop an experimental serum taken from reptilian DNA after he successfully regrew the missing limb of a rabbit. He took the serum for himself for a test despite warnings by his wife Martha. Connors missing arm indeed grow back, but the formula had a side effect Connors was subsequently turn to a Reptilian Humanoid Monster, which then called The Lizard.

Lizard and Spiderman had faced in a fight several time, which then spidey was able to transform Lizards back to Dr. Curt Connors using the Connors notes to creates the antidote.

When turning to Lizard, Connors strength increased to a superhuman level, his speed, stamina and agility was at Spiderman equivalent level. He can also scale walls just like a lizards using a combination of his sharp claws and micro scales on his hand and feet. Due to Lizard thick scaly hide, he is invisible to punctures and lacerations from ordinary weapons and lower –caliber firearms. He is also has highly enhanced healing abilities. The tail could be dangerous weapons to enemy that can whip at a high speed. Besides have a superhuman lizards abilities, he can mentally communicate and commands all reptiles using his telepathy.

Announcement had been made that British actor; Rhys Ifans will be playing the role of villains in Spiderman Reboot 2012. Ifans anyhow was not allowed to state any comments about the role in the movie, and he was so excited about it.

Ifans was remembered for his role in nothing hill as Hugh Grants oddball roommate.
After Sony had announced that the lizards will be the villains, Ifans been cast to play the villains, even though that there is no announcement made yet, The Wrap had confirms that Ifans plays the role of Dr. Curt Connors/ Lizard.

Recent rumors also suggested that the Venom or Electro will be the villains

After announcing Andrew Garfield as Spiderman in the next remake movie, Martin Sheen was announced as Uncle Ben and Sally Field (Brothers and Sisters) as the beloved Aunt May (May Parker). It was a major revamp for Spiderman Reboot and the casting is still continues and yet to be announce. Everybody has talking about the Spiderman reboot (2012) all this while after Sony Pictures announce that there will be no continuation after the last Spiderman sequel (Spiderman 3). The announcement was made early this year , with the news there will be no Tobey, Kristen or Sam for the next movie.

Before this, the release date for Spiderman 4 is expected on May 2011, and rumors on the story and villains had spread up all over the internet, some said there will be more villains in the sequel, which expected that Lizards are one of them. Spiderman films now joining several superhero movie that starts again with the fresh look (remake) such as Incredible Hulk and Batman (the Dark knight).

With the new announcement Spiderman will have a new team, the rebooting of the film will be based on the new script James Vanderbilt. Spiderman Reboot will comes with new fresh look and Peter Parker will return to the high School. This Spiderman Reboot (2012) will give new directions to the films.

Terdapat rumors mengatakan sequel kali ini akan menampilkan Lizards , electro dan juga mungkin Morbius. Kemunculan supervillains ini memang dinantikan oleh peminat -peminat spiderman. Lizards atau Dr. connors telah pun muncul sejak spiderman 2 lagi ..kali ini Connors akan menjadi lizards.

Upcoming 2011 (maybe May), targeted to release Spiderman 4. returning the Sam raimi as director and of coz Tobey and Dunst for spiderman and his girl. Rumors spread that spider-man 4 villains are , Mr. Lizard , Morbius and also Electro.

Since spiderman 3 was in screen, its started to have more villians in one time..and this is good. more action..hopes.

Nothing much about spiderman 4..at this moment but the filming will take place at new york..

whoaa...it's been a while . been busy with the other side of world..yeah wish to do all the things but...
a few days back i rewatched spiderman 3dvd .. i never realize before that there somethings not right..about the black spiderman..

you see..a dramatics scene where spiderman on top of the church trying to pull off the simbiote out of him, and its hard untill he bang the church bell resulting the sound weaken the simbiote from the host..

The funny things is that

1. Before this the black suit is kept in the closet.(refer to the scene where peter taken the suit to fight sandman ) ehmm.. if it is so hard to unbond it with the host why it is in the closet.

2. eddie has a superhuman eye .he could see peter from far below. (even though before he get bonded with the simbiote.

I have post this topik last year, here are some updated :- This animated series is scheduled this March 2008 on Kids WB channel. The series will start fresh as Peter Parker a 16 yers old teenager in a junior year of high school. The stories 'May' differ from the comics and previous animated series but still carrying out the ideas from this 2 media, so that the character will still same.

Series creators realized that, in order to allow the greatest number of story possibilities—and, no doubt, the maximum number of toy and other merchandising possibilities—Parker’s journey from novice to accomplished super-hero must be condensed.

Spider-Man 4 Villians

Spider-man 4 is still in the raw developement, they dont even have a story yet (for what i knew). In the last Spider-Man movies, we had The Green Goblin, Dr. Ock, Venom, Green Goblin 2?, and the Sandman. Still we are waiting many more to come.

This is only my predictions, Villains for Spiderman 4, the nominees are :-

1. Mysterio - because we have a very strong rumors about it since the 2nd sequel.
2. The Lizard - We have Dr. Connors since the 2nd sequel ..but still he did not transform to the Lizard, although I predict it strong for the spiderman 3..Dr. Connors must be the first choice for spiderman 4 villians, more over there must be a reasons why he in the the last Spiderman movies.
3. Carnage- hahaa.. this may a continuation for Venom.. he must left something before he died in the last sequel.

Well..that all..but this is my predictions only and i'm only a fans ..ahaks

The latest news i read recently, that Spider-Man 4 was confirmed by Marvel, moreover Marvel told that more Spider-Man movies will be coming to the screen. Again Sam Raimi will be directed this 4th sequel, and reported that his looking for the new writer for this sequel to add more fresh stories. Good news for you fans out there. This film also reported to be in screen year 2009. Up to this date, There is no confirmation whether Tobey Maguire will be call again for this sequel..well who knows the might be a new spiderman, besides Peter Should be more matured now.

"There will be many more Spider-Man films to come," Marvel Studios' Producer Kevin Feige told MTV. "We already have stacks of ideas for the next one because of the wealth of stories in the comics. We could be making Spider-Man movies for the next 20 years, based on the 50 years of Spider-Man history we have."

In July, Tobey Maguire gave comic book fanboys a conniption when he told USA Today that he didn't believe a Spider-Man 4 was in the cards.

"We've done an amazing job at keeping things fresh," Maguire told USA Today. "But, it's hard to imagine continuously coming up with stories that deserve to be told. I'm not sure if there are more stories for this character that are interesting enough to be excited about doing more."

Feige can't guarantee that Maguire would return for a fourth film.

"When you're concentrating on one movie at a time, there's a beginning and a middle and an end to that process," Feige reasoned. "We've been topping each one as they go, [and if that happens again], that's the time for those discussions."

It's good to hear from a Marvel representative that the company is commited to making more Spider-Man movies (as long as there is a market for them) with or without Maguire.

MTV talked to "Spider-Man" franchise director Sam Raimi Friday night about a fourth film. He talked about possibly returning to the director's chair, which cast members he'd like to see come back and the villains. Here's a clip:

Either way, if this tangled web does still involve the filmmaker, Raimi has been busy brainstorming about the villains he'd like to get into the next flick. "I would love to see Electro, Vulture, maybe the Sinister Six as a team," he said.

I have watched Spiderman 3 movie last week (2nd May), a day after it released on 1st of May 2007 in Malaysia. The movie duration is quite long, it is about 2 hour and 20 minutes but yet I ‘m still comfortable in my seat with popcorn and coke till end of movie.

It was quite surprise with the films, all my predictions in the last post about the movie its not quite match with the actual movie. The “symbiote” was from the outer space and crashed on earth with the meteorite. (Neither same as animated series nor comic book storyline). In Spiderman 3, it is action and conflict yet a drama itself. Its about Peter, Mary Jane and Spiderman and not just a hero fighting villains. You will laugh and angry at Peter new personality, and sad after Mary Jane facing the downside of her career while Spiderman becomes more popular. Harry Osborn will vengeance his father death and became the Goblin Jr. attack Spiderman, while came new villain Flint Marko which is not actually a bad guy to be, and accidentally became Sandman and uses his powers to rob banks and getting money to help his sick daughter. The venom came as a climax of the story, he teamed up with Sandman as both of them has a reason to kill Spiderman.

With a budget of 250million US, this films had brought a great special effects especially fight scene between Peter Parker and Harry and the last fight between Spiderman, Sandman and Venom. The character builds with special effects for Sandman also great.
I don’t have a collection figure for Spiderman 3 right now, but at my place the tickets for the movie were selling fast. It is a great movie to watch, I would give 4 stars for Spiderman 3, and it is only my “unprofessional” comments.

Spider-man 3 had its world premier in Tokyo on 16, April 2007 and had a positive reactions from Japanese Viewers, a film critic that attended the preview screening before the premier describe that as “ more intense –you will great action but certainly it’s the deepest of the three”.

UK premier will be on April 23 at the Odeon Leicester Square and the US Premier will take place on April 30, at Tribeca Film Festival in Queens (where Peter Parker was). And the world wide opening will be on 4th of May. Except several countries start earlier such as Japan, China and Malaysia. Tracking Data a month before the US release reflected over 90% awareness and over 20% first choice among moviegoers. With a budget of US $258 millions Spiderman 3 is among the biggest films budget besides King Kong , War and Peace and others. It is also estimated that Spiderman 3 will collect $100 millions over on the opening weekend.

This will be the hottest seat in cinema on May, hoping that more cinema and show could be offer for this films. Go Spidey ….errr ..don’t forget to see the latest trailers in my previous post.

Topher Grace is set as Eddie Brock, the rival photographer at the Daily Bugle., His jealous of Peter Parker only fans the flame of hate when he transforms to Venom.

"When we saw the preview at Comic-Con, I was like, 'That would be a big moment in my life if I weren't in the film,'" Grace said in an interview. "And I'm playing the guy. I was going nuts."

"There's a lot of freedom with a bad guy," Grace said. "When you're a protagonist, whenever you go a certain distance away from the center, ... a bell goes off, because you have a responsibility to the audience to be very real. So they can kind of relate to you. But when you're a bad guy—especially when you're me, who's kind of a psycho alien from outer space— ... like, the bell doesn't go off as many times."

Topher said that Eddie Brock is deceptively similar to Peter, at least at the beginning of the sequel. "They kind of have a very similar job," he said. "He works at The Bugle, they both work for J.J., and Eddie has a better exterior than Peter. You know, they look similar, but he's got a little bit more product in his hair, he dresses a little flashier, and you know, he's a little more of a flirt. They kind of like the same women, and as the movie progresses you realize that—of course, we know that Peter has this great interior, and we find out that Eddie does not. So it's kind of a case study, [as] if someone was given the same powers as Peter was given in part one, but didn't have that great advice from Uncle Ben. I used to say to them all the time on set, it's like my motto is 'With great power comes great fun.'"

For scenes after Brock finally transforms into Venom, Grace had to undergo a grueling makeup regimen. "I had four hours of prosthetic makeup every morning when I was Venom, and just getting on the suit takes about 45 minutes before that, so I had to get there at 3 or something," he said. "And I had to work out. I put on 20 pounds, which really was very hard. I'm really a skinny dude, and it was a lot of work. It wasn't just hanging from those rigs. I'd watch Tobey and go, 'Oh, that looks like fun, swinging around.' But I ... did, like, one one-hundredth of what he does on the film, and I just have a lot of respect for what he's been doing for all of these years. Physically, it's a whole sort of process."

Spider-man will be wearing his black suit again in the comics beginning February 2007 until June 2007. And this is not because of venom but it is Spidey own decision after he had made a mistake !!!!!. A mistake in Civil War. In Civil War, Spiderman support a Super-Human Registration Act ( S-HRA) and open his mask to the public as one of the regulation in S-HRA.

Then he realized that he had made a mistake, not only to himself but also danger his love ones. Aunt May and Mary Jane being hunted by King Pin. He wear the black suit to get his life back and against the S-HRA pro. This exciting story begin on Amazing Spider-Man # 539-542 and the other Spider-man series :- Sensational Spider-Man #35-39, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #17 – 21.

It is not Peter Parker alone wore the Spider-man suits and have the ability of the Spider. An attempt has been made to born a clone of Spider-man. And the clones are Kaine and Ben Reily.

Kaine is one of the first “failed” clones of Peter Parker created by Professor Miles Warren, the Jackal. The character created by Terry Kavanagh and Steven Butler. His first appeareance was in Web Of Spider-Man # 119.

The clones are the first attempted, and success during early period, but the cloning process was flawed. And Kaine was left deformed and mentally unstable but also more physically powerful than Spider-Man. Kaine not only possess Spider-man power such as strength, speed and agility but also he gained a ‘precognitive sense” an enhancement versions of Spider-sense where he will gained flashed of the future. Kaine also popular with his “Marks Of Kaine” a corrosive touch that he used to leave eaten away hand prints on his victims’ faces.

Ben Reily is not said to failure like Kaine. Ben Reily also an attempt by the Jackal to produced a new and better clones after he created Kaine. Ben Reily survived and perfectly appeared as Peter Parker double. Ben Reily was first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man # 149.

Ben Reily not only inherited all Peter Parker powers but also was imbued with Peter Parker’s memories through a process of arcane science. Ben Reily actually believes that he himself was the original Peter Parker. Like Kaine he also have the precognitive Spider-sense. In his first story he was battling to get a life he believed that was his life, as Peter Parker. He was also known as Scarlet Spider, Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Carnage.

Spider-Man 2099 is another interesting continuity for Spider-Man. In Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man is no longer Peter Parker but Miguel O’Hara an engineer specializing in genetics research. Miguel received his power after subjecting himself to a process he created which alters animal DNA. Resulting Miguel was no longer a human, but he was subjected to a spider’s. Spiderman 3, Confirms Venom originated from Outer Space

May 4th, 2007 Spiderman 3 will be release.

In the last post, i have wrote about the summary for the Spiderman 3 film and also the rumors about the film. And the latest news i pick-up in Superherohype.com it is confirm that venom in Spiderman 3 comes from outerspace. That means the symbiote is an "alien living thing". Bond with Spiderman and then Venom been created (Based on trailers scene in the church). With this news, I can predict that, the story may follow a little bit of Spiderman the animated series. Why ?

Here's why ..

In animated series, Jamesons son (the astronought)brought back to Earth a Rock from outer space called Prothemium X. And in the Spiderman 3, there is also Jameson son (brought back from Spiderman 2). So,John Jameson will bring back the alien symboite
and bond with spiderman. Even there is a picture of the scene that look -alike the scene in Spiderman animated series.(I only noticed one scene). So the storyline how venom appeared will slightly follow the Spiderman Animated Series. And not other version of Venom in Amazing Spiderman and also Ultimate Spiderman.

It was reported that the Spiderman 3 films budget is $250 million, which is made the most expensive film ever made in nominal of US dollar, breaking the King Kong record of $207 million. Converted to Malaysian Ringgit it is almost a billions. Phew ! Malaysia may not have this kind of budget for film making.

Spiderman 3 wrapped up in August 2006 after over 100 days of filming. Scott Stokdyk took over the job as Visual effects Supervisors. In Spiderman 3, Cliff Robertson as Uncle Ben return to remake the shoot where he was killed in the carjacker incident. There is a cameo role for Stan Lee and Bruce Campbell, the rumors said that Campbell will be the forth Villain. Harry Osborn will never be a Green Goblin or the Hobgoblin but he still following his father legacy as the persona may even be called “night surfer”. The casting is as follow:-

I have found a Spiderman 3 movie plot, here something to share :-

Peter Parker basks in the spotlight with his public success as his superhero alter ego, Spider-Man. Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy pursue Parker for his affections, and Parker begins to grow overconfident, neglecting those who care for him. When the Police tell Parker and his aunt that the new evidence shows Sandman as being responsible for killing Uncle Bent (you could refer :-Sandman killed Uncle Ben in archives), Parker goes after the alleged perpetrator personally. As Spider-man, he battles Sandman and his former friend Harry. During this time, an astroniught John Jameson bring back an alien life force to earth with him (this plot remembered me of Spiderman the Animated Series). The forces forms a symbiotic relationship with Peter’s costume, influencing his behavior for the worse. As a result, Spiderman has to fight the villains within, until he finally tears the symbiote from his body. The Symbiote found a new host, Eddie Brock and become Venom.

Carnage

Carnage is one of the most deadliest enemy of Spiderman. Carnage or his real name is Cletus Kasady is a serial killer that bonded with the separate extraterrestrial symbiote worn by Venom.

Cletus Kasady was once a serial killer and become Carnage after bonding with alien symbiote left by venom during a prison breakout. Before he become Carnage, Kasady was convicted 11 murders, although he bragged about commiting dozens. With the powers and abilities he gained from the symbiote he became one of the most insane super villains Spiderman ever had. Carnage not also has to face Spiderman but Venom who always interested in killing him. In mini series Venom vs. Carnage, carnage gives “birth” to Toxin, a symbiote from Carnage that bonded with a police officer. Carnage felt nothing but hated Toxin and attempted to kill him, where Venom defended Toxin.

The suit gives superhuman strength and also inherited Venom and Spiderman abilities to adhere to any surface, produce web-like substance from his body. He also possesses with superhuman agility and reaction more than compared to Spiderman. Carnage also have the ability to change his part of the body to a weapon and could also separate it as a weapon. The suit also could mimic all kind of clothes (the original is red-black suit). He could block Venom ability to trace him and also immune to Spiderman spider-sense. The suit is made of tough, flexible of organic fibers. Carnage is a formidable hand-to-hand combatant as well as merciless killer.

Venom’s Fate in Spiderman 3

In the last post, we thinking of the venom story possibilities in Spiderman 3. Both possibilities and news we heard that Spiderman surely will wear a New Black Suit. And there will be Venom a Spiderman villains as Topher Grace played as Eddie Brock. But how far will Venom be in Spiderman 3, at the middle of the story or the end of the story? Will Spiderman battle with Venom? And will Venom die in the story just like other villains in last Spiderman movie?

Here’s my prediction after gone through necessary articles and news. I think Venom doesn’t die in this film. He will be Spiderman villains in the next movie. In Spiderman 3, there will be only an origins for Venom, how Venom character been created. And I predicted that venom wills only making his first appearance in this film. And he will be in the next Spiderman films where Carnage also been needed as a villains too. Or venom will never appeared in this film except a story about Eddie Brock same as Professor O’Connor’s that appeared in the last 2 films but yet did not become a Lizards Man.

It is just my wild prediction, as same as you I would also like that Spiderman 3 will be more interesting than the last movie. And it would be very interesting to have Venom in action in Spiderman 3. Looking forward for May 07.

Venom surely will be appeared in the next Spiderman movie, as Topher Grace played as Eddie Brock the person who will be hosting the venom. But there is still a questions how the story goes, how the symbiote bond with Spiderman in the first place ? (the new trailer show that Spiderman bond with the “suit”). There is 3 different stories on how venom is created and bond with Eddie Brock.

The original stories in The Amazing Spiderman, the symbiote (venom) is an alien living creature that bond with Spiderman after a battle in an alien planet. Spiderman been directed to a facilities which he could find a new costume, met with the black fluid automatically bond with Spiderman In form of costume. Spiderman use this new black suit back on earth. But somehow manage to get rid of the suit, which then the suit find new host ; Eddie Brock.

In Spiderman the animated series, the John Jameson bring back a strange rock which called “Prothemium X” . The rock contains the symbiote and escape from the rock, bond with Spiderman and later met Eddie Brock , thus called themselves as Venom.

Different with the Ultimate Spiderman, Peter Parker and Eddie Brock father experimental a cure for cancer called “Venom”, It is in kind of suit that will be bonded to human to cure the cancer. But they discovered that the suit also potentially be used as a weapon. Eddie Brock then exposed to the last sample of the suit and bonded with him.

That was the three different origins stories, and I wonder how will be the stories of venom in Spiderman 3. The clue is that we have John Jameson in the last film and this next film…maybe John Jameson will bring the Prothemium X Rock to earth (like Spiderman Animated series) thus bringing together venom with him. Or maybe venom is an experimental living symbiote by Oscorp that later bond with Spiderman. Or they maybe there is a new origin for appearance of the Venom in Spiderman 3. What we are very sure, Spiderman bonded with the venom first and then get rid of it.

Spiderman Original Costumes

Even though Spiderman costumes changes over the years since his original, but it is said to be remains fairly consistent. The standard is a form-fiting bodysuit, which from the waist down is blue, except for mid-calf boots with a black pattern on a red background. From the waist up, the fabric is a red –black web pattern, except for his back, sides and insides of his arms, which are blue. There is a large red spider outline on his back, and smaller black spider emblem on his chest.

This standard costume varies and depending on artist, Spiderman also sometimes wore underarm webbing connecting his arms to his torso, and his sometimes wore the black and red costumes instead of the original blue and red. In Spiderman 3, we might see Spiderman wearing the new black and red costumes vary from his last 2 movie. His boots mask and gloves can be folded and put it into the pocket while the rest of his costume can be worn under his civilian’s clothes.

In the secrets wars series, Spiderman get new costumes. It is black costume with large spider emblem in his chest and back. It is actually an alien symbiote which reflects to Spiderman thought about new costume and bond with Spiderman. The costume also can mimic the civilian’s clothes. Peter stop to wear this costume when the costume start to control his mind (you will see this costume in Spiderman 3). Then this costume (alien symboite) bond with new host; Eddie Brock and called themselves “Venom”.

There are also many costume that Spiderman wear especially in other versions of Spiderman. I will discuss it on the next post..okey ..chow.

For the last 2 Spiderman movie, we didn’t saw Spiderman used any equipment (as I can remember). But in other media ; comics, animated series or even the 70,s television series, Spiderman used some equipment in his career as a superhero. I have listed some of Spiderman equipment that have been used for all this years. Yeraghhhh…

Web-shooter

Yes, a web-shooter to shot web. Peter originally didn’t produces web itself (organic web). He made a web shooter since he thinks that a spider should have an ability to shoot web. This ‘home made’ devices fire an adhesive “webbing” (also home made) through a threaded adjustable nozzle. The trigger rest high in the palm and requires double tap from the middle two fingers to activate it. He must reload it with small cartridges of web. But at later versions where Spiderman began to produce it own web fluid (organic web) as in the Spiderman movie.

Webbing

The shooter will not be useful without the web or webbing. Spiderman had found a way to produces a synthetic web reloaded to his web shooter. This web fluid was developed to be a special synthetic adhesive that dries immediately into strong material in exposure to oxygen. Spiderman stop using these web shooter and web fluid to produced web after he could produce his own organic web.

Spider-tracers

Spiderman had designed a small electronic device called “spider tracer” to track objects or individual. It is seen on Spiderman television series, animated series and comics but in the movie Spiderman doesn’t have it yet. A tracer’s outer casing is shaped like spider, with legs for aerodynamics flight. The tracers are small enough to remain unnoticed, in general. In the earlier stories, Spiderman use the small electronic receiver to follow the signals of the tracer, but eventually he has modified the tracer to emit signal he can follow with his spider-sense.

Utility belt

Spiderman keeps his regular equipment in this utility belt such as fluid cartridges,
Spider-tracers, and his camera.

Spider-mobile

Spider-mobile been introduced in Amazing Spiderman #160, where Corona motors approaches Spiderman to use their non-polluting motor to install in the Spider-mobile which Spiderman will design it. It seems to be useful at a moment until the villains used it against Spiderman. Spiderman return the heavily damage Spider-mobile to Corona.

There you are some of the spiderman equipment, I beleive there is some more that I did not listed. And I hope to see Spiderman use some kind of equipment in the next movie.

The Sandman Killed Ben Parker? Spiderman 3 Scene

While there has been many spoilers concerning the latest Spider-Man 3 out on the web, blackfilm.com has come to learn that last Friday, June 30th, the latest sequence shot was at the New York Public Library.

For those who recall the first film very well, you may remember that it was at the library where Peter Parker had seen his uncle, Ben Parker, die in his arms after being carjacked in the street and that as he chased the killer Peter Parker/ Spider-Man used his webs for the first time to fly around the city to catch him. After catching the killer, played by Michael Papajohn, in an abandoned warehouse, Parker remembered that it was he who first saw the killer at the sports arena where he wrestled and let him go initially after the thief/ killer stole the gate money. In a fight with Spider-Man, the killer had fell out of a window to his death.

Well, the producers have brought back Cliff Robertson as Uncle Ben and re-created the exact scene by the library where Ben died and have placed Thomas Hayden Church, who's playing Flint Marko aka Sandman there as well. We never did see the scene where Ben was carjacked and killed, just his body on the floor when Peter saw him. Placing the Sandman in that scene could have new meaning to the story, especially since it was Ben's death that made Peter take his life more serious and his role as Spider-Man to greater depths. Robertson also appeared in the sequel as well.

The other villian that will be appearing in Spiderman 3 is Sandman. One of the earlier villian for Spiderman. In movie, sandman will be played by Thomas Haden Church.
Sandman or William Baker was abandoned by his father and live in peverty with his mother. His life make him trapped into theft and cheating and ended involved in more and more illegal activity under an alias name Flint Marko. He been caught but managed to esccape. He found himself near a Savannah Beach, Georgia, where he made contact to the sand that had been irradiated by an experimental reactor. His body ant the radioaktive sand bonded and change his molecular structure into a sand/dirt-like substance. Marko found that he could transform all his body to sand and called himself The Sandman.

Sandman has the ability to transform into a malleable sand-like substance which can be hardened, dispersed, or shaped according to his will. Even if his body is blown apart he is capable of reforming it. He also capable to merge with the natural sand and manipulate it like his normal body or use to add strength and reform himself with it. He has strength several time in excess from Spiderman make him equal to the Thing. In the Spiderman 3, Sandman are said to be team up with Green Goblin 2@Harry Osborn to destroy Spiderman. And this should be more interesting.

Venom

Venom will be one of the villains in Spiderman 3, and one of my favorite villains. Venom commonly thought of as an arch-enemy of Spiderman. Venom first appeared in The Amazing Spiderman # 298 in march 1988. Created by David Michelinie and Todd McFarlene as the artist. Venom or his real name is Eddie Brock was a reporter who held a personal grudge against Peter parker and Spiderman. Venom is the result of symbiosis between an alien-form and a living host (Eddie Brock).

Venom created from the living symbiote that used Peter Parker as a living host. When Spiderman damages his costume, he was directed to the a facility where he can find a new costume (Secret Wars # 8). He then active a machine that released a black liquid ( symboite), when he touched the liquid, it covers his body and reacted to Spiderman tought about new costume. It was a surprised for Spiderman to know that “his new costume” can mimic street clothes and provides a seemingly inexhaustible supply of webbing. Back on earth, Spiderman began to use his new costume, but then he learn that the suit or symboite wishes to fuse permanently with him, and control him while he sleeps. At one time he almost killed Mary Jane. With the helps from Mr. Fantastic, Spiderman then removes the symboite using sonic wave of the bell at church. The Symboite slitters away. The Symboite then met Eddie Brock, attracted by Eddie Brock intense hatred of Spiderman, symboite bonds with him and imparts the knowledge of Spiderman secret identity. They named themselves as Venom.

Venom posess the abilities parallel to Spiderman (Symboite carried the abilities from his original host), ; superhuman strength, agility, superhuman reflexes, shoot web and ability to adhere to walls. Because of Eddie Brock’s natural physical strenght from weight-trainning, his strenghth as Venom is greatly increase far from Spiderman. Venom body is highly resistant to physical injury, and capable of healing injury of the host. Venom also imumne to Spiderman Spider Sense. The Symboite bonds with Eddie for a long period and the symboite also “gift birth” to Carnage (Kletus Casady). Besides bonding with Brocks, the symboite also bond with The Scorpion (Mac Gargan) as a new venom.

In Spiderman 3 film, Eddie Brock play by Topher Grace. A leaked production sketch and prototype bust show that the movie Venom bears similarity to both the movie's Black costume and McFarlane's early Venom design. For example, the bust keeps the movie's raised webbing, but it has a more organic, vein-like appearance, and an exposed mouth. Based on the production sketch, Venom's "Big White Spider" symbol remains intact.

Kirsten Dunst says it's a tangled web.
She just wrapped "Spider-Man 3," but says her future with another film in the series is a bit iffy.

"I wouldn't do another one without [director] Sam Raimi," Dunst says. "He would have to come back. He's the heart of the film and makes the movie unique and so special.
"He feels the responsibility for his audience. So I wouldn't do it without Sam. He's our glue."
That said, she is happy to report that work on "Spider-Man 3," is pretty much finished.

"I have some more blue-screen things to do, and there are additional special FX scenes to put in," she says. "I do think it's going to be a real extravaganza with so many characters and villains. I'm even going to be surprised when I see the film."

Dunst, now starring in "Marie Antoinette," shared a few secrets from the set.
"My character Mary Jane is an actress on Broadway," Dunst previews. "There's Spider-Man -- and I'm not sure what else I should say."
The film revolves around the moon giving Spider-Man special powers, which come in handy when he must battle a bevy of baddies including Sandman (Thomas Haden Church) and Venom (Topher Grace).

Dunst admits she had taken a little heat from opening her mouth in the past.
"I didn't really say anything about the character of Venom," she says. "I was in a room with journalists and they asked me about who was playing certain villains. I saw on IMDB that Venom was cast. So I asked my publicist, 'It's out, isn't it?' "
The film did get Dunst thinking about what superpower she would like to have in real life. "I'd like to be able to cure people of disease."

Apparently, I'm now told by my very dependable source, the appearance of Bruce Campbell as Quentin Beck in Spider-Man 3 is to play out something a little like this:

Peter Parker finds out about a Spider-Man movie being made and goes to the set to check it out. Avi Arad and Sam Raimi have cameos as the producer and director. Quentin Beck is the movie's special FX guy. The fact that Peter and MJ are both in the public eye - though one can never reveal that he is - is milked for a little bit of fun too.

This brief cameo appearance by Beck is just about the full the breadth and depth of the "4th villain" mystery. That makes this a genuine spoiler, I suppose.

We saw all the pics of the Spideyfest and all of the merchandise and kids in Spidey costumes - and I presume this movie ties in with all of that Spidey-Mania.

These mechanical arms were attached to him, and then the accident happened (radiation leak and ended with explosion). The explosion caused mutation and brain damage (interpreted that his mind rewiring himself to accommodate 4 extra limbs), that he could control the arms using his thought alone. And since then, then scientist turned his life to a crime.

Doctor Octopus has been hinted as being a low-level telepathic mutant, but no superpowers have been outrightly revealed. He is a bona fide genius in the fields of atomic physics, in which he holds a Ph. D in robotics. His arms are capable of lifting up to eight tones, the reaction time and agility of this mecahnical appendages is enhance far beyond the range attainable for human musculature. Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, Sandman, Venom. Carnage, Kraven, Vulture, Shocker and many more are villains for Spiderman. These villains appeared in most of the comic’s series and animated series.

In past Spiderman movies, we have seen Green Goblin (Spiderman 2002) and Dr. Octopus (Spiderman 2), the villains for Spiderman. And for the next Spiderman 3 (May 2007) three villains will be appearing, namely Sandman, Venom and return of the Green Goblin ... Green Goblin 2 (Harry Osborn).

In the 1st movie, Green Goblin was Norman Osborn, one of the director and a person who started Osborn Corporation. Norman Osborn is said to be a genius in science. He injected himself with the serum (to enhance superhuman strength) for Military Project testing. The serum not only gave him superhuman strength but also made him insane. Green Goblin use “Flying Glider” and high tech equipment like “Pumpkin Bomb” to terrorist the New York City. As in the film the costume a bit different with the original in the comic, but still both are wearing green costume. In comics, Green Goblin was first appeared in Amazing Spiderman # 14 (July 1964) dressed garish green and purple costume. Both comic and movie agreed, Green Goblin knows who really Spiderman was and Green Goblin died the same way in the film and comic ( believe to be dead).
The Green Goblin character grew and there is some people dressed as the goblin after Green Goblin died. Harry Osborn is the Green Goblin 2 return to take revenge for Spiderman (Spiderman 3), Bart Hamilton was the 3rd Green Goblin when he discovered Harry secret. Then the Hobgoblin appeared, instead of wearing green the Hobgoblin wore brown, Hobgoblin used the equipment left by the last Goblin. There were also many people who appeared as Hobgoblin for example Phil Ulrich and Roderick Kingsley.

For more than 40 years Spiderman exist in our world, there has been an evolution to the series in the comics especially. The stories, the abilities and enemies has become more and more interesting and variety. Evolution of more that 40 years created many versions of Spiderman to tackle different fans and readers.

Ultimate Spider-Man is a separate continuity from the Spiderman comic series. A modernized reboot of Spider-Man story and made to attract the new and young reader. The story starting from the very beginning as it is free from the decades of the original story. Here, Peter is a high –school student bitten by the spider during the school trip. (Instead of radioactive spider – it is a modified genetically by Osborn Industries). The themes and characterization and setting are made to reflect the modern world.

In Spiderman mini series ‘The House of M’, Spiderman was a mutant in the world of mutant ruled by Magneto. He married with Gwen Stacy and live rich and famous and has a son named Ritchie. And Spiderman identity is widely known.

Spider-Man 2099 is no longer Peter Parker, he is Miguel O’Hara, a geneticist and gained his power from gene –splicing incident. As a Spiderman, Miguel fought against the Alchemax Corporations control over city and tried to bring down the Ceo, Tyler Stone, whom Miguel later discovered to be his birth father. Dr. Max Borne was the Spider-Man of the year 2211 after the Spider-Man 2099.

There are still many versions of Spiderman besides what I have listed above. And Spiderman has also inspired a number of derivatives such as Yu Komori in Spiderman: The Manga. Takuya Yamashiro as Spiderman produced by Toei Company,and an Indian Spiderman, Pavitr Prabhakar and many more.

Colllections Of Spiderman Films

Spiderman comes alive in a film in 2002. The collection for the first Spiderman movie worldwide was $821.6 millions and the domestics collections (for US alone) is $403.7 millions. Spiderman become the 3rd biggest movie in ranking worldwide in 2002 after Harry Porter and the Chamber Of Secret ($879 mill) and Lord of the Rings –The Two Towers ($924.7 mill). Spiderman also beat the collections for Star Wars –Episodes Two Attack of the Clones in the same year.

But for the sequel, Spiderman 2 releases in 2004. The collections are decrease compared to the first Spiderman movies. Spiderman 2 collected only $783.6 mill less about $100 +- mill from the first movie. But Spiderman 2 still at the ranking no.3 among the films release in 2004 also been beat by the Harry Porter (The Prisoner of Azkaban). Some say, the sequel of Spiderman was not as what they expected to be. Even though, a Spiderman 2 collection is less than the first one but both Spiderman movies were ranked no.3 in the year of release. This is a normal trend for the sequel films in Hollywood, the first one will gained better result and collections. It’s happened to most of superheroes films such as Batman. Even the attempted to reproduce the Batman films in Batman Begin is not as good as the first Batman Movie collections.

Now, the new sequel for Spiderman, Spiderman 3 will be release in May, 2007. What could be expected from his film collections, can it beat the first sequel? And I believe the all the crew and people involved has taken steps to make this films better than the last 2 film, because it should be better (with 3 villains) … right?

It's confirmed that the villains for Spiderman 3 are The Sandman, Green Goblin 2 and Venom. I expected that Venom will only appeared at the end of the story..(wild guess). As much as I love Venom to appear at the beggining of the story, but with the rumors about the storyline i heard, I think Eddie Brocks will only be turn to Venom nearly at the end of the story. And the sequel continue for Spiderman 4, then only Venom will be the main Villain, and its really frustrated. But, look at the bright sight, I hope the Spiderman 3 will gives a full of action expected and the never ending issue of Peter Parker . Remember guys, May 4th 2007... this summer .

Steve Ditko, Co-Creator

Last post I’ve told u about Stan lee, the Spiderman creator but I forgot to mention Steve Ditko, he was a co-creator for the character. At that time he was an artist for Spiderman character. Steve Ditko or Stephen Ditko was born on 2nd November 1927 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He was in a military service in post-war Germany before he studied at Cartoonist and Illustrators School in New York City. He began professionally illustrating comic’s books in 1953. Ditko’s early work starting with the cover of “Space Adventure # 10” and the five-page story “Homecoming” For Charlton Comics. He continued producing fiction, horror, and mystery stories, as well as co-creating Captain Atom with writer Joe Gill in 1960.

Ditko joined Marvel beginning with four –page in “Journey Into Mystery # 33 1956. Then he continued contributed for Marvel, and then met with Stan Lee which both of them created Spiderman in Amazing Fantasy # 15. The other character that Ditko created are The Creeper, Hawk and Dove (co-creator), Shade, the Changing Man, The Odd Man, Doctor Strange, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Sandman and other Spiderman villains (co-creator) and others.

The new head of Marvel Kevin Feige took the time to address some questions about the new HULK movie and the future of Spiderman when he talked to MTV.
And he share some of the information on what we should expect from Spiderman movie franchise. And just how many more films we might get.

"There will be many more Spider-Man films to come," he promised. "We already have stacks of ideas for the next one because of the wealth of stories in the comics. We could be making Spider-Man movies for the next 20 years, based on the 50 years of Spider-Man history we have."

In this film reveals the black suit (Venom suit) for Spiderman, a new suit that increases his abilities but also can control his mind. Peter Parker dependency on the soul –sucking Venom suit will take him to a junkie-like level of desperation. While Harry insanity turn him to The Green Goblin hires Sandman to seek vengeance on Spiderman. The story became more interesting when Eddie Brocks become the Venom? Will he?

Everybody knows that Mary Jane Watson was Spiderman girlfriend and ended up marry her in the comics episodes. Mary Jane also appeared in the last 2 film of Spiderman and the new sequel in March 2007. For the new sequel, there is also a new woman in Spiderman life, Gwen Stacy.

So, who is Spiderman love through out his life?, the most popular and known is Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy. Gwen Stacy or Gwendolyn ‘Gwen’ Stacy is the first love for Spiderman or Peter Parker. A blonde, bookish girl first appeared in Amazing Spiderman # 31 (Disember 1965). She met Peter while they were undergraduates at Empire State University. Gwen seemed to appreciated Peter’s Intellectual personality but with at first Peter ignored her because problem as a Spider-man. However, a romance developed and be the first true Peter love. Their romance became complicated when her father ( a police captain) was killed from a battle between Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus. Gwen blame Spider-man for that, which set back their relationship. She moved to Europe. And after returned she resume her loves with Peter, but it was not last long. Gwen died in Amazing Spiderman # 121 killed by Spiderman arch-enemy The Green Goblin. Gwen Stacy death not only affected Peter but also made Mary (Gwen close friend) closer to Peter and their relationship begin.

Mary Jane Watson, a gorgeous green-eye and redheaded woman was first appeared in Amazing Spiderman # 42. Mary Jane stayed was a neighbor to Peter when he stayed with his Aunt May. When Gwen killed, MJ was the one who be with him and their relationship began. Peter proposed to her, but MJ turned him down and left New York for several years. MJ also a person who knows Peter another identity, but he kept it for herself. She then admitted Peter that she knows everything including his other identity Spider-man. They then married. Mary Jane was said to be the forth lover for Spiderman. The pairing of Mary Jane and Peter Parker has become one of the true classic romances of the comic medium and the couple are considered to be one of the superhero genre's most beloved "super-couples".

Stan Lee or Stanley Lieber created Spider-Man 1962 in the “Amazing Fantasy # 15” by Marvel Comics. He was 16 when he first joined Marvel Comics, at that time he was the teenage cousins of the wife of Martin Goodman, the owner of Marvel Comics. The name appeared and signed “Stan Lee” he later recalled, “ because I felt someday I’d be writing the Great American Novel and didn’t want to use my real name on these silly little comics”,

He has given a sparks to the new era of the comics, when introduced Spider-Man to the world, that is really different with the other earlier superheroes. Most important, that Lee heroes lives in a real world and with real people. That bring the imagination on how real people might act if they suddenly gained superpowers heroes. After a year Spider-Man hits the industry, Stan Lee get promoted and his character spread throughout the comics strip in the newspaper around the world. And at the age of 20, he became an editor and chief writer.

He was a writer to Spider-Man from the beginning until the late 1990’s. In this industry, Lee invented the vocabulary and the attitude of the modern superhero, placing his characters and their complex stories in a vivid, literary landscape. He was also a principal architecture of the modern comics books. His quoted “ He was never very interesting to me, because I was never worried about him. And if you’re not worried about the jam your hero, there’s no excitement”, on DC heroes such as Superman changed the wave of superheroes created after.

Stan Lee left Marvel Comics in late 1990’s. And he’s creativeness also created the X-Men, Fantastic Four , Iron Man, and Incredible Hulk.

Spider-Man Original Abilities

After been bitten by the radioactive spider, Peter Parker gained some abilities, and these are the original abilities;-

Physical Abilities

Healing power, Spider-Man heals fast than a normal human but not as fast the Wolverine (X-men). This healing factor even helps him from getting any scar. He can recovers from broken bones and damage in as little a week. He may not affect to the normal dose of drugs (you need more dose) and will be recovered from the drugs rapidly. His eyesight also improved and he needs no glasses after gained the power.

Beside the enhancement to his physical, he’s not immune to the alcohol; just like normal people he will lose his balance, reflexes and coordination. He is also still still vulnerable to disease, and has fallen ill due to flu many times.

Superhuman Strength

Spider-Man possess a superhuman strength and increase in his abilities to jump, crawl and run at a superhuman speed for short sprints.

Reflexes and Spider Sense

His reflexes and agility are also increase, combined with his super- strength, allows him to dodge almost any attack and even gunfire. He is also have the ability to sense danger or any threat to him , a ‘spider sense’.

Wall –Crawling

Spider-Man is capable of crawling on walls and ceilings. He has conscious control over this ability. However, if a surface is too slippery, he has problems sticking to it He can also use his clinging ability to lift or hold objects The ability works through thin layers of cloth, but not through material such as the soles of shoes.

Shoot Web, Spider Web.

These power are not originally gained from the radioactive spider, after discover the he has a spider abilities, only then he created a fluid (synthetic adhesive) that look-alike spider web and placed it to his ‘web shooter’ (invented by him also) wear it on his hand. But in a later version of spider-man, he has an ability to shoot his own organic web like a spider.

Spider-Man first appeared on live action television series in 1978 after 16 years since the character was created, followed after a pilot episode on The Amazing Spiderman in April, 1977 on CBS network. The pilot episode is only a 90 minute film and is about how Peter Parker got his spider power uses his power against evil. Starring by Nicholas Hammond as a Peter Parker a.k.a Spiderman. The series came on air a year later on 1977, with the same actor in the pilot episode.
The first season of the series of 5 episodes began on April 5 until May, 3, 1978. And a second season with 8 episodes began on September 5 on the same year. Besides Nicholas Hammond as Spiderman, also starring are Chip Fields as Rita, Robert S. Simon as J. Jonah Jameson, Ellen Bry as Julie Masters, Irene Tedrow played as Aunt May and Michael Pataki as Captain Barbera.

The series, The Amazing Spiderman must be considered one of the single dreariest superhero series ever made. There was complete lack of the super-villains to fight with. The series just only show a man with a costume fight the crime and no different with the average cop series at that time. Nicholas Hammond was also extremely weak as Spiderman and the series been directed in the dullest way you can imagine.

The series badly received by the public and the spidey fans. The series was bland and there is much silliness that overrides most of the proceedings. The character is also to be said badly overplayed by Hammond. Besides the television series in the state, Spiderman also appeared in the Japanese TV only that the story line is really different with the original even though the costume is the same…. Its Japanese style …like Ultraman heheheh…

Spiderman, The Story

Spider-Man is another side of Peter Parker when he been bitten by the radiation exposed spider when he visited the science demonstrations. From the bitten he gained most of the spider skills and power.

Here’s the story, Peter Parker was raised by his uncle Ben and Aunt May when his parent were killed in the plane crash, at that time he was only four . Peter Parker was aloof from his classmate, and appeared as a weak and nerdish schoolboy. During the school outing, he visited the science demonstrations of the new radiation technology. During the demonstrations, a spider crept into a beam of radiation, generated by the experiment. The spider than dropped down and bite Peter Parker hand. He than felt ill and left the science demonstration and went home. As he walked home along the street, he was nearly hits by a speeding car, but found that he was able to leap more than a hundred feet and cling to the side of building in order to escape. As a day pass, he discovered his enhanced strength, agility and the amazing power of spider. As a result of the bite from the exposed radiation spider, he posses a new abilities which was amplified by the spider’s passage through the beam of radiation. The result was superhuman reflexes and strength, spider-like abilities to cling to surfaces, increase of mental alertness, ability to sense danger and most of all the power to spin and shoot web strands to great distances which then functioned like powerful vines.

Possessing the superhuman power of a spider is not making Peter Parker a Spider-Man yet, until he realize that the great power he possess comes with great responsibility (quoted as my favorite Spider-man words). With the great power and his new abilities Peter Parker was eager to earn some money as a wrestler, in which he disguised with a mask and suit. One evening, after a fight he goes back to a room to change the costume crossed path with a burglar, he choose not to interfere believing that it is not his responsibility. Couple days later his uncle Ben was killed by a burglar, he tracks and caught the burglar and discovered that it is the same burglar he had ignored earlier. This leaves Peter guilty and vaults him into the world of fighting crime and becomes Spider-Man that swears to fight evil from the day on.

Spiderman was created by Stan Lee in 1962 for Marvel Comics; Stan Lee was 16 when he joined Marvel Comics. Spiderman Character first appeared in a comic book series, “Amazing Fantasy” # 15. The comic was such a hit that Amazing Fantasy was renamed Amazing Spider-Man and Stan lee was promoted a year later. He became the youngest editor in the comic’s book history. Primarily due to overwhelming popularity of Spiderman, Marvel Comics became one of the dominant comic’s book publishers by the start of the next decade. Stan Lee change the new era of the comics when Spiderman lived in the real world and with real people, not in the Gotham City or Metropolis.

In 1977, Spider-Man appeared in his own newspaper strip and ultimately appearing in more than 500 newspapers around the world and became the longest running super heroes comics strips of them all. Spider-Man was written throughout from the beginning until the late 1990’s by Stan Lee when he left Marvel Comics. And his younger brother Larry Lieber only drew the daily newspaper comics for Marvel since the late 1980’s when Larry replace Fred Kids as the artist for “ The Amazing Spider-Man” .

Spider-Man popularity then been bought to his first animated television series, Spider-Man in 1967, premiering on ABC network and running throughout 1967 and 1968 seasons. An attempted to go further with this character, Spider-Man appeared on a live action series, but it only last for 2 years , 1977 to 1979. It is not overwhelming as the previous superheroes live action television as Batman and Superman. The Spider-Man spread throughout the world, and interest Toei Animation from Japan to produced a Japanese version of live action television series. The costume was similar, but sadly the story line is different from the original version.

The return of Spider-Man television animated series began in 1981 -1982, and “Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends” came afterwards featuring others superheroes included Incredible Hulk, Ice Man, and Fire Stars and this series aired on NBC from 1982 -1985. Spider-Man than return with 65 episodes in the 1990’s, said to be most successful Spiderman animated series, running from 1994 – 1998. The follow-up series, Spiderman Unlimited was short –lived and pulled off the air to make room for Japanese anime. Besides all the animated series and the comic version of Spider-Man, there is an attempted throughout the year to bring the Spider-Man to Cinema until the first Spider-Man live action featured film released in summer 2002 by Colombia Pictures and directed by Sam Raimi. The sequel than released in 2005, Spiderman 2 and still we are waiting for the Spiderman 3 in 2007.

Spider-Man was one of the first and most popular comic strip or comic books crossover stories. Not only he gained the worldwide fame, but for me he is still one of the most popular superheroes of all time. Long live Spider-Man
